When you travel how do you decide where to stay? Do you base it solely on price? Quality? Location?
Another angle of this discussion is who do you book through? Do you use a travel agent for all of your traveling needs? Do you use a booking site like Hotels.com, Priceline.com, Trivago.com or do you use more adventurous sites like Air BnB?
Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming for someone who is just stepping into the world to also think about where you will lay your weary head at night and how that will work into your budget..let’s see if I can help with that dilemma.
So I highly believe in rewards programs! I, personally, have a few accounts with different booking sites, I tend to used sites like Hotels.com and Air BnB. I use these sites because Hotels.com has a rewards program you can sign up for that after you stay with them for 10 nights they will give you a free stay at your next hotel, which a few stipulations of course. I tend to lean more towards Air BnB though because I think that you are able to get more of a cultural experience when are actually staying at people’s homes, B&Bs, town homes and locally owned and family operated hotels or hostels.
It all depends on what kind of experience you want to have when you are traveling, do you want to be able to venture out to explore the city and dive into the culture or do you want to be fully immersed? It all depends on what you want to get out of your travels.
