Without electricity, Under Canvas Yellowstone offers safari-inspired tents. All tents feature a wood stove and private bathroom equipped with a shower, flushing toilet and spa products. 🌱🍽️ This place is all about food, and trust me, you won’t be disappointed! With its prime location on a 35-acre, sustainable farm, it’s like a foodie’s dream come true! 🌿🥙

Now, brace yourself for some serious flavor explosions! 🎉 Picture plates filled with mouthwatering Montana trout, creamy mushroom risotto, and perhaps even a savory elk lion dish! It’s like a symphony of flavors dancing on your palate. And don’t even get me started on the desserts… pure bliss!

🏕️ Glamping Spot 3: Wander Camp Yellowstone

These gorgeous canvas bell tents are a boho-fabulous way to see Yellowstone in comfort and style. Get away from the Jackson Hole and Montana crowds and stay on the Idaho side of Yellowstone at Wander Camp, a stylish enclave of canvas bell tents that are as comfortable as they are Instagram-ready.

The spacious, 16-foot waterproof glampsites come in both king and twin sizes, and are designed to feel homey, with high thread count linens, cozy down comforters, soft rugs, and leather wingback chairs.

The camp is completely off-grid, meaning that there’s no electricity in the tents or the shared bathrooms, but solar lanterns and lighted pathways help ensure that night owls can still roam and read after the sun goes down. And the resort’s food truck offers simple al fresco breakfasts and dinners.

🏕️ Glamping Spot 4: Yellowstone Dreamin Camp

If you’re interested in exploring Yellowstone—and who are we kidding, of course you are—then the owners of Yellowstone Dreamin Camp have you covered. You can sign up for a variety of park tours that focus on everything from photography to wildlife watching to hiking, then come home to cozy safari tents tucked into the gorgeous Paradise Valley.

The shelters have sitting areas and one or two large beds for your whole crew to spread out in comfort. Bathrooms are shared (but don’t worry, they have hot showers), as are other great touches like a fire pit, horseshoes, hammocks, and dog/horse boarding (for a fee). Plus, a continental breakfast is included with every stay, to make sure you’re full of energy before checking out park favorites like Grand Prismatic Spring and Artist Paint Pots.

🏕️ Glamping Spot 5: Tammah Yellowstone Glamping

Bring the whole family — the largest of these canvas tents fits up to seven people on a combination of king beds, bunk beds, and sleeper sofas (smaller options are available, too). Creature comforts like Wi-Fi, USB charging packs, a fire pit, and a general store are all on site. There’s a communal kitchen and grill for DIY cooking, and the resort serves complimentary coffee each morning.

Situated a 20-minute drive from Yellowstone National Park’s West Entrance, this pet-friendly glamping haven also provides s’mores, disc golf, bocce ball, and cornhole. Shower houses and restrooms are shared facilities and are a short walk away from the tent.

🏕️ Glamping Spot 6: Moose Creek Ranch

Nestled in a quiet corner along a creek at this ritzy resort, you’ll find five rustic, romantic glamping cabins that sleep two. They’re each outfitted with a queen bed, woodstove, and fire pit, with shared bathroom facilities. You won’t find electricity or water inside the cabins, which have wood walls but a canvas roof, but Moose Creek Ranch does supply battery lanterns.

These cabins are located south of Yellowstone and just west of Grand Teton National Park, making them an ideal stop on a trip that covers both parks. Bonus: The ranch also rents an Airstream for glamping.

🏕️ Glamping Spot 7: Chico Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa

Live your own chapter of Little House on the Prairie—just with soft beds, heat, and air conditioning—at Chico’s Camp Conestoga. The six canvas-topped covered wagons fit a king-size bed plus twin bunk beds and feature their own covered patios with views of the Paradise Valley. Guests also gather around gas-burning firepits when the evening chill sets in. One wagon has its own bathroom with a flush toilet, while the others share a communal bath house with hot showers.

Naturally, the hot springs pools at this century-old resort are the star attraction, and with good reason: Soaking in the swimming pool-sized warm pool or the smaller, hotter side pool is a must-do. Guests have unlimited access to the pools during open hours, so you can (and should) take the plunge multiple times over your stay.

When you dry off, don’t miss a meal at the standout Dining Room, which serves the likes of prime rib, beef tenderloin, and roast chicken for dinner and offers a killer brunch buffet. The Chico Saloon offers more casual fare, as does the Poolside Grille. There’s also an on-site spa, horse barn, and disc golf course, among other amenities.

While the Conestoga wagons win the prize for most fun lodging, we’d be remiss not to mention that Chico has a slew of other sleeping options. If the wagons are booked up, you can also bunk in a cabin, caboose, motel room, or Victorian-era lodge room.

🏕️ Glamping Spot 8: Hemingway’s Cozy Cabin

Recently redone with air conditioning, this Wild West cabin is a rustic retreat in the notable cowboy town of Cody, Wyoming. The location is epic, too, as it’s just a short scenic drive away from the Cody Nite Rodeo, fields of wild mustangs, and Yellowstone.

With amenities like a mini fridge, electric kettle, and morning tea, you’ll hardly notice that there’s no Wi-Fi at this location, and instead opt to enjoy incredible mountain views from the shared wooden deck. Inside, grandma-chic furnishings like a colorful quilt, a bison lamp, and horseshoe coat hangers will be sure to warm your heart after adventuring all day.

And just like that, we’ve reached glamping spot number 8! 🤩 But before we dive into the next section, let’s take a moment to chat about some important factors to consider when choosing your glamping spot in Yellowstone National Park. ✨Proximity to attractions, availability of facilities, and your budget are all things to keep in mind.
